Holding Hands Is Breaking All The Rules

We nearly died today, me an Flack. Upholding justice, maintaining the right, doing all that good stuff cop's an CSI's are supposed to do.

We nearly lost each other. It was a close thing, either of us could have made the ultimate sacrifice and left the other behind to mourn. We do the things we do, we risk the things we do and I wouldn't change any o dat - Flack's a cop, I'm CSI.

But why is it that having risked so much, been willing to sacrifice more, this society we're so gung ho on protecting won't let us make the simplest signs of affection.

We can cry, sweat, bleed for this city, but me an Flack can't do what most lovers take for granted - in public me an him can't hold hands.
