When finished, the egg on the left had a small decorated xmas tree placed in it, and the glitter filled interior also had stars glued in place. |

When hanging an egg, the top can be strung with crystals and beads like a sun catcher. A tassel or more beads can be hung from below. The larger egg in this picture is a goose egg and it sits on a stand brought from a specialty hobby store. There is a matching "Merry Xmas" on it's door and the bottom of the hanging egg on the right. The crystal on the egg door handle was changed for a red drop crystal to match as well later on. |

A little picture egg. It sits on a paper eggcup (see Easter page) and is surrounded by glitter and 'fairy stones' from the Easter egg hunt. |

Pale Blue is a nice colour for eggs. These eggs are from a display at an Agricultural Show. More and more people are taking up this interesting hobby. You can see the lined insides of the jewl box eggs, if you can do this it looks great (mum does all of mine!) The Humpty Dumpty in the bottom left corner (we are looking at its back) was from the children's entries, and was really well done!

These eggs were for sale. There is an ostrich egg, a goose egg and two chicken eggs. The mirror helps show all the details of an egg normally hidden while on display. Choosing what to go inside an egg can make or break a piece, the use of a tea set inside an ostrich egg tea pot was an enchanting idea! |
