By Fire Frog.
On the other side of that door lies my destiny.
For good or bad, higher purpose or evil.
Bilbo had it right; dear Hobbit of Tolkienian myth,
when he said it's a dangerous business -
stepping out your doorway...
Will this be a dangerous business?
Will danger meet me with open arms,
or shall I carry it to others?
Duality, my luck - your doom.
This side of the door - that side.
Where will the far side take me?
Mundane paths or enchanted highways,
which will greet my footfall as I pass the threshold?
Should I be scared?
Should I be terrified?
Or should you?
Of only one thing am I certain in this twisting,
shifting, shimmering moment of undecided fate.
This only do I know for sure.
I wish I had a key.
Key keeper
Path seeker.
Wither doest thy wander?
Far away.
Close today.
Across the desert tundra?
Hop along.
Bop along.
Seek and ye shall find.
Run and dance.
Skulk or prance.
Let destiny unwind.
In the house of my father.
In the home of my mother.
There is a door.
Open it for my brother.
Open it for my sister.
Hold me here no more.
Unbind the lock.
