Make Your Own Realistic (sort of) Honey Covered Tribble! To make some small honey covered Tribbles - from a craft shop get large tan pom poms, and the special resin used to make those honey covered teddy bears. Follow the instructions for the resin, I had to double the times, my microwave is old! Pouring the mixture is hard, as it dries quick. Also, don't try to help it pour using a spoon, you end up in all sorts of trouble. Drizzle the mixture to get the runny drips down the side. The mixture cools fast and is quite brittle. Break off thin spindly bits, hide spots with lumps in at the back. Place Tribble where you want to display it and never move it again! J The results are below, with a lumpy blue tribble just sneaking in to view on the far left. These tribbles are acompanied by a baby pink 'My Little Pony' TM who is modeling some toy jewelry I made. Yes, I try to menace as many crafts as I can! It's fun! |
