Shauni our first girl


My Second Rottweiler Shauni had no papers as well. So like Byron, Shauni also went to Obedience. The mateship of these two were very stronger, nothing they did was never apart, which I would later regent. Shauni had a trade, she would pinch thongs or sandals then go and hide them, never chew them just hide then, this started when we notice the first seizure. Not knowing, what was going on, I went to her to see what I could do for her, but before I got too close, Byron pushes in between me and Shauni not letting me any closer. This happened every time a seizure would accrue. After she had finish he would let me pass. Shauni would get up and start walking; amazingly Byron would walk with her, he seeming to know what to do. Shauni was put on medicine but the fits were getting stronger with each one. After losing Byron to cancer in November the prevent year, Shauni seem to get worse she was missing her mate" big time"! Before Easter Shauni pinch Regans (my youngest son) new thongs and sandals, then Jordan's (my oldest son) thongs and last mine thongs were she hide them I'm not sure as I only found some. Maybe she was trying to tell me something? About the time Easter came around that year, Shauni Epiploici couldn't be control she had 30 seizures that day, which coursed her to go blind, I rang the vets but being a long weekend it was hard to reach her, she told me to bring her in. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for her. Five months to the dy of Byron dieing, Shauni died.
